CT Lab and Scanner

For scanning, we use a X5000 high resolution micro-CT system with a twin head 225 kV x-ray source and a Dexela area detector (3073 x 3889 pixels). Our scanner is located within the subbasement of Tate Hall within its own dedicated lab space.

Image Processing Lab

Our image processing lab, located on the third floor of Tate Hall, provides users with access to image processing software including Avizo, ImageJ, 3D Slicer, MeshLab, and Geomagic. We also utilize the program RemotePC, which enables users to access our image processing computers remotely.
